    Great photos. I was too young in the 80s to wander around with a camera, but the changes in the city scene are always fun to watch. The one labeled Louisville Riverfront is actually the St. Louis riverfront (the Eads Bridge in the background gives it away).

    thanks for correcting me on that st. louis photo.. it looked just like the view from downtown louisville at first! bob hunter mentioned that he is planning on uploading more photos from back in the day, so i’m hoping to post them on this site as well if he lets me. i love looking at these pictures and seeing the way things have changed. that ear x-tacy photo makes me feel especially nostalgic for life before mp3s.
