iguanas in the ice

Louisville is blessed with having lots of beautiful old trees in many of our neighborhoods.  At least most of the time this is considered a blessing.  Earlier this fall, we had a terrible windstorm due to winds from Hurricane Ike.  The storm knocked out many trees and power lines.  Once the old limbs were hauled away, some people began carving sculptures out of the leftover stumps.  Once again, we’re in the midst of a storm which has knocked out power lines around town and everything has a thick coating of ice on it.  Below is a picture that my mom took of one of those carved sculptures, drenched in icicles:
